Jumbo Group Appoints Shathi Sharma as Chief HR Officer

Shathi Sharma has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Jumbo Group, strengthening organization’s leadership team at a pivotal phase of growth.

In her new role, she will spearhead the group’s people strategy, talent agenda, and organization-wide transformation initiatives across markets, with a strong focus on building future-ready capabilities and culture.

Extensive Experience

A seasoned HR leader, Shathi Sharma brings rich and diverse experience across retail, telecom, banking, and multinational environments.

Prior to joining Jumbo Group, she served as Vice President – Human Resources at Reliance Retail and as CHRO at Modenik Lifestyle.

She has also held senior HR leadership roles as Head- HR at Landmark Group, where she played a key role in driving people and culture initiatives in a large-scale retail ecosystem.

Her career spans prominent organizations, including Telenor, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., Emirates NBD, and GE, giving her deep exposure to complex, multi-country operations and transformation-led HR agendas.

Known for her strategic approach to talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, Shathi has consistently partnered with business leaders to enable growth and change.

Shathi Sharma holds an EPLM in General Management from IIM Calcutta and an MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Delhi.
